Since the hats are only available for a limited time, and have since been discontinued OSRS Gold, any player lucky enough to own one has the option of selling them for billions of in-game coins. While the hats themselves are strictly decorative and provide no any stats bonuses, they're at present the highest priced item in the Grand Exchange, hitting the maximum value of 2.1billion gold in 2015. To obtain head-on-heads in the Golden Party Hat, players will need to accomplish "various objectives" and earn eight gold shreds for their efforts. When all eight shards have been earned, they are put together into a Golden Party Hat. But this isn't the only game time-bound, but just one golden hat is available by each participant. Just like their 2001 counterparts, Jagex says of the golden hats that "after the cut-off time they will never be ever again available for purchase!" Whether the new item interrupts the game's economy and decreases prices of existing partyhats or is an entirely new and much more valuable item remains to be seen. Jagex will be marking the occasion in the same manner and will transform the in-game Grand Exchange location into "a Golden Party Hat winter wonderland". The golden hat is the most awaited element (sorry) to RuneScape's year-long celebrations to mark the 20th anniversary. Launching alongside the returning partyhat event, it's the fourth and final part of the anniversary adventure, Once Upon a Time, running all year. It is appropriately titled Finale This chapter is described as "the conclusion of the adventure that explores RuneScape's historical, future, and present and brings the story arc to Buy RuneScape Gold the end for Relomia who is the antagonist of the quest."
